Rom: Courage man. The hurt cannot be that deep.
Mer:No; Its not that deep or wide but its enough. Ask me in the morning and i might be dead, I am peppered. I warned you for the world. A curse on both of your houses.
Mer:Damn; your foul, you have no heart. Scratch a man to his death.
Rom:I think it was best.
Mer:Help me Benny, Help me or I will die. Curse both of your families.Just let me be, the worms will eat me.I’ll put a curse on both your families.
Rom:How dare you, the man beside me is my bestfriend, and you’ve killed him.But for I have sinned too, Iv’e killed my own cousin. Oh sweet juliet; what will my wife think of this?!
Something I think is good about South Central are the supportive people and the hardworking ones too. Shout outs to the Hard working black women in the world. Something that I think can improve about South Central are the death tolls, violence and drugs. Kill that out and do something productive.Overall I really enjoy living in South Central despite the negative things that go on in it, It’s HOME! The three most important events that have had the greatest impact on making South Central/ LA what it is today are Early Watts History, Crack Epidemic, and Immigration.
Early Watts History was mostly about the riots and the poor support of people and families. Something that I felt was important or that stood out to me was how many people lost their lives and families dealing with gangs and drugs. I feel that if life was really serious to some people they would see how hard it really is, and also people that don’t take things seriously should really take time out and think about what can be going on in their lives if they were not acting so dumb.
Crack epidemic was interesting, I felt that I could relate to that a lot. When i was a child I grew up around cocaine and weed, I use to be called a crack baby because of the way i was raised and because when I was in my mother’s wound I was exposed to cocaine. I recently lost my mom to drug addiction. Poverty and deaths skyrocketed because of the crack epidemic. people spent their money on crack instead of on things that actually mattered.
Immigration was started because of the wars and riots. People from all over moved to South Central/LA because they felt safer here than there. I also think they migrated to the US because they wanted better jobs and better education.
I feel that if none of the things that’s happening now never happened then the world would be much better place to live. South Central would change drastically you wouldn’t have to worry about whose behind you or even whose dying next because life is not about worry at all it’s about living it to the fullest. Fulfilling all your desires to the best of your ability.
Elaine Brown, a women with a bright future born on March 2,1943 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania. Elaine brown is still alive and is known for being the first woman leader of the black panther party political group. Something that I feel makes her a good leader is that she is representing for black young women all over the world and I respect her for that. she makes lots of women around the world feel special and wanted and worthy of doing things in life. I think that she made a big impact on a lot of peoples lives especially mines and I believe that if she was to come and speak to us women she would really open a lot of our eyes.
